What are the characteristics of the structural design of plastic sports water bottles

The bottle body is the main component of the plastic sports water bottle, and its structural design is directly related to the firmness, capacity and appearance of the bottle. Common bottle shapes include cylinder and oval, both of which are relatively comfortable and ergonomic in hand and hold.
For high-end sports water bottles, some designs will adopt a double-layer structure, that is, there is one layer inside and outside the bottle body, separated by a vacuum layer or insulation layer. This design improves the thermal insulation performance, allowing the water bottle to maintain the temperature of hot and cold beverages for a certain period of time.
In some innovative designs, foldable or compressible structures are also used, allowing users to freely adjust the size of the bottle as needed for easy portability.
Bottle cap structural design
The bottle cap is a key part to protect the contents of the water bottle. Its structural design needs to take into account easy opening, leakage prevention and hygiene. Common bottle cap types include:
Twist Cap: Users can open or close the bottle by rotating the cap. This design is simple and practical, but it needs to be rotated by hand during exercise, which is not as convenient as other designs.
Flip Cap: The bottle cap has a flip cap structure, and the user can open it by pressing the flip cap, avoiding the step of rotation. This design is suitable for scenes that require frequent drinking of water during exercise.
Push-Pull Cap: Users can quickly open or close by pressing the central part of the bottle cap. This design is very convenient for sports that require quick response, such as cycling or running.
Straw design: Some sports water bottles are designed with straws, so users can drink directly through the straw without opening the bottle cap, which improves convenience.
Nozzle structure design
The caps of some sports water bottles are also equipped with special nozzle designs to adapt to different drinking needs. Nozzles may have the following features:
Leak-proof design: The special valve structure or silicone sealing ring prevents moisture from leaking when the bottle cap is closed.
One-hand operation: The nozzle design allows users to operate it with one hand, eliminating the need for both hands to open the bottle cap, making it convenient to drink water during exercise.
Spray design: In some innovative designs, the bottle cap may also adopt a spray design, allowing users to enjoy a light mist of water, which is suitable for cooling or refreshing needs during outdoor sports.
Grip structure design
In order to improve the comfort of users' holding, sports water bottles usually have a holding structure designed on the bottle body. This can include grooves, bumps or rubberized grip areas to prevent the bottle from slipping in the hand and improve grip stability.
